Commenting on the decision to stay with the Kramer brand, logistics director Charlie Chandler said: "Our old machines have done us proud but after 16 years of hard work they were beginning to cost money to keep running. We did have demonstrations from three other manufacturers, but the latest Kramer loaders remained our favourite because of the superb all-round visibility from their cabs. Also, all our existing attachments can still be used and are interchangeable between the 750T and 550 models we've chosen."

Supplied by new local dealer Power Plant East Anglia of Sudbury in Suffolk, the new Kramer machines are now being used on a daily basis, mostly for loading aggregates at a rate of some 150 tonne every week into Chandler's own delivery vehicles or customer transport. In addition, a set of pallet forks enable the machines to support the fleet of forklift trucks whenever loads are in difficult to access locations and the extra reach of the 750T's telescopic boom is a real bonus. A brush attachment is also used on a regular basis to keep the yard clean and tidy.
